After an outpouring of positive hands-on previews, The Blood of Dawnwalker has become the most highly anticipated RPG of the year - and you can potentially nab a copy for free.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on September 3, but ahead of that launch date, developer Rebel Wolves has revealed what is easily the best giveaway we've seen in a long time.
On Twitter/X, the team has posted a segment of a music track lasting for two minutes and 26 seconds.
The challenge for fans? To name the track.
Advert
Rebel Wolves has tasked gamers to come up with a “perfect title” for the song and to drop it in the comments underneath the Twitter/X post.
The person who comes up with the winning title will not only receive a free Collector’s Edition of the game, they’ll actually have that become the real title on the game’s soundtrack.
Now that is a very, very special prize.
The winner of the competition will be selected “based on compatibility with the song, creativity, and originality” and you can only submit one entry featuring one singular title.
It's time for some new #Dawnwalker tunes! This one's titled... well, you tell us!

The track is by Nikola Kołodziejczyk featuring Karolina Matyszkiewicz.

Open-world RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker is the debut title for Rebel Wolves, with both the game and studio helmed by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the director of CD Project RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - and yes, Konrad brought plenty of CDPR talent with him to this new endeavour.
It centres around Coen who resides in Vale Sangora in the Carpathian Mountains, a region controlled by the Vrakhiri, an ancient clan of vampires led by Brencis. Vale Sangora’s residents are forced to attend the sacrificial Blood Mass, but during an uprising, Coen’s life is changed forever.
Brencis bites Coen and leaves him for dead but when the sun comes up, Coen doesn’t wither away as a vampire should, somehow surviving to become a daywalker. He’s then given 30 days and 30 nights to find Brencis to free his family which the angered vampire lord has taken.
We recently went hands-on with almost five-hours of the game, writing, “Whilst the team clearly built upon its former fantasy RPG experience, this is an entirely original beast with unique narrative quirks and gameplay systems that set The Blood of Dawnwalker apart from just about anything else I’ve played.”
We weren’t alone in our hype.
“After four hours with The Blood of Dawnwalker, it’s instantly shot up the list of my most anticipated titles for the rest of the year,” remarked VGC.
“In a word; I'm smitten. I had the feeling that I'd vibe with Coen's adventure since last year, but I was ill-prepared for just how painful the wait would be out the other end of a proper hands-on preview. Now I'm stuck here with a hunger that only The Blood of Dawnwalker can quench,” RPG Site added.
Loot Level Chill said, “I’m going to lay my cards out on the table early here: The Blood of Dawnwalker was already one of my most anticipated games of 2026, and having spent four hours playing the game, it’s already a game of the year contender."
So get your entry in if you want the chance to nab a free copy and your track name on the soundtrack.
