Red Dead Redemption 2 Players Blown Away By Hidden Underground Area

"2000+ hours, five 100% playthroughs and I never saw that."

One Red Dead Redemption II player has discovered something that I have genuinely never seen before, and it looks like an incredibly fun place for a good old-fashioned shootout.

I think it’s probably pretty fair to say that Red Dead Redemption II hides quite a few secrets that even some of the most diehard players have never discovered.

It’s a testament to just how much stuff Rockstar Games filled this game with, because I’ve played through it twice and yet… I’ve never seen this.

As revealed in a post over on the r/reddeadredemption subreddit by user Roflcopter_26, Saint Denis is hiding a rather odd little secret.

If you were to wander underneath the Cornwall Freight Yard, you’d discover a large, fully explorable tunnel, complete with a set of gates that open out into the water.

Thankfully, I don’t feel as ridiculous as I did before reading the comments, because it turns out that a bunch of people in the thread hadn’t seen this either.

“No f**king way”, commented user Fernandexx.

“2000+ hours, five 100% playthroughs and I never saw that.”

“this game is massive, every detail it’s outstanding. i love when ppl find new things like this”, replied user D180888.

As many others in the thread pointed out, this tunnel seems to be tied to a mission that’s exclusive to the Special and Ultimate editions of Red Dead Redemption II, as there’s a clue in the treasure hunt mission that leads you to this specific location.

That’s cool and all, and explains why I didn’t discover it on my own, but now I just want to make my way over there and get into a tussle with the law.

Seems like a super cool spot to get into a fight with the cops. Plus, you have a cool getaway exit through the gates!
