The latest community event is now live in Red Dead Online rewarding players with bonus XP, in-game currency, free cosmetic DLC and more.

Red Dead Redemption 2 serves as a prequel to the 2010 game starring John Marston. Detailing the rise and fall of the infamous Dutch van der Linde gang with Arthur Morgan as its lead protagonist (or antagonist depending on your choices), the (pre)sequel is widely considered to be one of the best video games of all time.

Check out the Red Dead Online trailer below!

Whether it’s Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemption, each makes silly money for Rockstar Games, especially when it comes to GTA V’s multiplayer offering, GTA Online. Sadly, Red Dead Online would not share the same success as GTA Online, especially after Rockstar Games had all but abandoned supporting this mode with substantial content, such as the massive content updates seen in GTA Online.

Thankfully at least, Rockstar Games is still supporting Red Dead Online with community events for those who are still playing the game such as the most recent ‘Collector Free Roam’ events.

The latest free community event for Red Dead Online will reward players with a generous 3x RDO$ (in-game currency) and 3x XP as well as free DLC, such as the “community-inspired outfit”, the Jungle Explorer which can be claimed via a tailor or ordering through the Wheeler, Rawson, and Co. Catalogue.

As detailed on RockstarGames.com, the Jungle Explorer outfit can be accessed by completing free-roam events in Red Dead Online and it includes a Barras Vest, Worsted Coat (male), Classic Frock Coat (female), Everyday Shirt (male), Iniesta Shirtwaist (female), an Ascot Tie, Tuxedo Pants (male), Bandito Pants (female), Cavalry Boots (male) and Lumber Boots (female).

What’s more, by simply playing Red Dead Online anytime during the event which ends on 2 September 2024, you will be gifted with a free black Patterned Bandana. Furthermore, you can also earn a free purple Gardenia Hat for completing a round of Salvage or Condor Egg free roam events. Oh, and if you complete a three-day Daily Challenges streak, you’ll also receive a free emote.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online are available on PC as well as modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
