Star Wars has officially confirmed a return to the world of video games later this summer, through a new DLC for one of 2025’s best games.
In collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, FuturLab has announced a new Star Wars-themed DLC for its 2025 simulation title, PowerWash Simulator 2.
Due out later this summer, PowerWash Simulator 2 - Star Wars Pack will invite you to clean up messes in a galaxy far, far away.
What’s particularly interesting and funny about this DLC is that it seems to be canon to the Star Wars universe. It’s set during the original trilogy, and the various jobs will feature six different locations from across the films.
You play as a labour droid called P0-W2 who takes on various powerwashing jobs across these different locations in the Star Wars universe.

The trailer reveals three of these locations: the Lars Homestead on Tatooine, an X-wing in the bay of a Rebel Alliance transport ship, and the dirty innards of a formidable Super Star Destroyer Bridge.
Of course, you can also expect a load of Star Wars-themed easter eggs to be included as you continue playing through the DLC.
The DLC also features an exclusive power washer designed specifically for these missions, which P0-W2 will utilise.
Take a look at the trailer below for a closer look at what’s on offer in the upcoming DLC.
The press release for the Star Wars Pack also teases that the DLC will build on “PowerWash Simulator 2’s improved tools, enhanced visuals, and expanded multiplayer options, making every blast feel more rewarding than ever.”
The PowerWash Simulator 2 - Star Wars Pack is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC later this summer. It will cost 7.99 GBP / 9.99 USD / 9.99 EUR, and is available to add to your wishlist now.
PowerWash Simulator 2 launched in October 2025 and became one of the highest-rated simulator game releases of the year.
It retains the same basic gameplay loop of the first one, where you take on various powerwashing jobs using your tools to remove dirt and grime from different objects until they’re squeaky clean.
The sequel makes some marginal improvements to make the experience more fun though. The new adjustable scissor lift and abseiling features make getting around each level a lot more fun, and the quality of the sprays are a lot more consistent.
What it really does best though, is bring new ideas to the table in terms of jobs and locations, making it an excellent sequel to the original from 2022.
In GAMINGbible’s own review of PowerWash Simulator 2, our Kate said that “if you’re someone who enjoys the quiet and meditative experience that the PowerWash Simulator franchise has to offer, you’ll find endless satisfaction here. With the improved missions, streamlined graphics, and various new features, FuturLab has finally perfected its original vision, offering a wonderfully fun gameplay loop that you'll struggle to tear yourself away from.”
