Nintendo are often dropping lovely little surprises at our feet, and this Pokémon addition is no exception.
To celebrate Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Nintendo have released a set of icons and backgrounds as part of Nintendo Switch Online.

If you’re unfamiliar with the personalisation options for your Nintendo profile, let me fill you in.
Your profile can be a representation of you and everything you love on your Nintendo Switch.
You can change the icon picture, the surrounding frame, and even the background.
This is done by spending platinum points, which you will naturally accrue as you complete little challenges or buy things through the eShop.
Now, Nintendo have brought a great selection centred on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Showcased on Twitter by the ever reliable NSO Icon Alerts, you can redeem a selection of colourful backgrounds made up from geometric shapes.
There are some lovely frames that will really make your profile image pop, including a lush holographic one.
And, of course, there are the images that make up the bulk of your icon.
With a mixture of characters from the game, including a few in a more anime style, they’re also joined by several Pokémon, including Corviknight, Blaziken, and the new shiny Rayquaza.
These icon options will be available for some time yet, and join a host of others representing some of Nintendo’s best games.
If you’re an avid fan of this system and tend to change up the look of your profile regularly, you’ve got plenty to choose from.
Most fans on Twitter seem to be really happy to see Blaziken get some love via their icon.
It’s great to see more Pokémon appearing as part of the personalisation options via Nintendo Switch Online.
