Pokémon Scarlet/Violet free downloads announced to celebrate anniversary

We just got a lot of new info regarding some upcoming Pokémon games, including some freebies for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
In case you missed it, the latest Pokémon showcase just aired.
Alongside finally getting some new details regarding Pokémon Legends: Z-A, we also received info on a bunch of free downloads making their way towards Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
So first things first, because one of these freebies is already available. From right this second, you can now download a special Rotom phone case for both games through the Mystery Gift feature.

In Pokémon Scarlet, you can obtain the Scarlet Case by typing in code SB00KC0VER. In Pokémon Violet, you can snag the Violet Case by entertaining the code VB00KC0VER.
Now, for the upcoming freebies (although one of the said freebies is literally “upcoming” tomorrow). Starting tomorrow, several new Tera Raid Battles are dropping.
From February 28 to March 6, you can grab a Meowscarda. From March 7 to March 13, you can grab a Skeledirge. And finally, from March 14 to March 20, you can get ahold of a Quaquaval.
Probably don’t have to explain this one to any hardcore Pokémon Scarlet/Violet players out there, but obviously this one is a pretty big deal considering it’ll let you capture all of the starter Pokémon.
There are also some Mass Outbreaks scheduled, starting on February 28 and ending on March 20.
In Paldea, these will feature Charcadet, Smoliv, and Finizen, in Kitakami you can get some Applin, Sewaddle, and Poliwag, and at the Blueberry Academy you can get Porygon, Scyther, and Lapras.
Make sure you boot up Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet through the next couple of months if you want to get ahold of all of these, as the majority of them are time sensitive!
