Pokémon Legends: Z-A might be the Pokémon game for this year but don’t be fooled, Gen 10 is on the way too.
It’s been a hot topic amongst Pokémon fans as several leaks have emerged teasing its setting, gimmick and even the starter ‘mon you’ll be choosing from.
Perhaps Pokémon Legends: Z-A will feature a tease here and there for where the series might be heading next
Given how it’ll be a game made for the Nintendo Switch 2 the chances of it being good are already high, but fans are urging each other to temper expectations until he’s actually out.

Reddit user Dank-Adam06 made a thread saying: “I hope Gen 10 really is the ultimate Pokemon game” and it was met with several comments trying to bring them back to reality.
“Lower your expectations or you are set for massive disappointment. It's not going to happen” read one comment, with another adding “I'd keep my expectations low lol.”
“Don’t trust Game Freak until they actually deliver” read another, “It’s embarrassing the quality of the games considering the budget behind the IP. Running at 25 FPS and 2010 graphics would feel like a win for them compared to how clunky Gen 9 is. I think WoW classic from 2004 has better graphics than Gen 9 almost two decades later.”
Finally one said “Your expectations are ludicrously high. You will be disappointed.”

Personally I think we stand a good chance at getting a better game this time around, as it’ll likely be made with the Nintendo Switch 2 in mind first rather than the Nintendo Switch.
Hopefully the more advanced hardware gives the developers more power to play with when it comes to the open-world, as while it’s been fun to explore large, open-ended environments seeing Pokémon just pop into existence as you move is just jarring and really takes away from the experience.
