Pokémon fans, we’re being rewarded with some tasty freebies, in a giving moment from the developers of Pokémon TCG Pocket.
If you’ve been playing Pokémon TCG Pocket in the months since its release, and you’re a tight-fisted, penny-pinching Scrooge like me, you’ll know that pack hourglasses are a crucial currency.

These little hourglass tokens give you the opportunity to cooldown the wait between booster pack openings - it costs 12 hourglasses to open one pack of digital cards.
Well, the developers of the game are celebrating Golden Week by giving all players 24 pack hourglasses and 500 trade tokens.
To redeem these for yourself, simply head on over to the Pokémon TCG Pocket gift website, and enter the code S5N4NDM00N.
You will need your Support ID code, which is found within the app itself.
To get this, open the app, and navigate to the menu with the three horizontal lines, in the bottom-right of the main screen.
Your Support ID is at the very top of this menu, above your username and icon.
Once you have entered all the details needed, the reward will be sent to your in-game mailbox within a few hours.
It’s nice to see the latest expansion accompanied by this reward, as it will give players two extra booster packs to open, in the hopes of pulling a shiny chase card.
The trade tokens, while helpful for some, are still seen as a useless commodity by many players, and these will be replaced later this year.
The offer is valid until 27 May, so you’ve still got plenty of time to grab your freebies.
The latest expansion, Celestial Guardians, brings hundreds of new cards with gorgeous artwork, highlighting legendaries and trainers alike.
With so many new cards to obtain, these extra packs will be a welcome way to save some pennies.
