It's no secret at this point that beloved Japanese video game developer Hideo Kojima is very much into his television and movies, consistently sharing what he's watching and how much he likes it via his various social media profiles.
In turn, this often leads him to identifying actors who he would like to appear in his own video game properties, which have become increasingly known for their use of full 3D scanning, in order to put across as realistic a performance as possible in the final project.
The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus is probably most well-known for this connection, starring in the critically acclaimed Death Stranding and its sequel, with the actor immediately recognisable thanks to the technology used.
Now, fans think they've identified Kojima’s next target for the scanning machine and it could prove very popular if her appearance in a recent show is to be believed.
Pluribus’ Rhea Seehorn Could Be Next in the Kojima Scanner

Pluribus actor Rhea Seehorn. serves as the show's protagonist, a woman named Carol, who is one of the only people on earth not mysteriously struck by a strange wave of forced happiness. She then tries to work out what's going on, to see if she can save the planet from the bliss that has overtaken it. She has just been awarded a Golden Globe for her turn as the character, adding to the already stellar legacy that she has built up via major roles in shows like Better Call Saul.
Just like us, Kojima was a huge fan.
The comments below the post all know what’s on the cards, and that Seehorn is in Kojima’s crosshairs, with many excited about what they may cook up together.

"You know what to do. Scan her."
"Ready for Rhea Seehorn as the next Solid Snake clone!!!"
Over on Twitter/X, journalist Gene Park shared a screenshot confirming that Kojima has even been liking her Insta-posts. We have to call out this excellent reply:

"the feet will be scanned, he will digitally deage her and make a lore accurate magic the gathering tutorial sorceress 3d game model with actual strappy Roman style sandals instead of striped socks"
“Kojima was singing the praises of Pluribus the day after the first ep dropped... now he wants to nab Rhea for a Kojima game,” another added.
Whether that means an appearance in Death Stranding 3, or another project entirely, it’s clear that Rhea Seehorn would be an immensely popular choice with fans of the show.
Kojima himself is yet to comment on that speculation, but he doesn’t tend to until he pulls the trigger on a big reveal, so we may just have to wait until then.
