To celebrate the upcoming release of brand-new team-based FPS Concord, PlayStation has unveiled a stunning new piece of hardware you won’t want to miss out on.

Set to release on 23 August, Concord is a brand-new team-based shooter from developers Firewalk Studios.

If you want a team-based FPS to pass the time with, check out Overwatch 2 below!

“Assemble your crew of Freegunner space outlaws and team up online with friends for thrilling 5v5 PVP modes across the galaxy in Concord,” the official synopsis reads.

“Concord is a new team-based first-person shooter for PS5 and PC. Handpick your personal roster of Freegunners from the crew of the Northstar – a group of outlaws and adventurers working as guns-for-hire.”

Expected to give Overwatch a run for its money, Concord is already getting fans of the FPS genre hyped and it seems as though Sony is getting in on the excitement.

PlayStation Direct has begun pre-orders in the U.S. for a limited edition DualSense Wireless controller inspired by Concord.

Featuring a colourful skin with blues and reds adorning a black base, the DualSense fits the chaotic nature of the team-based shooter.

“Lead your crew of Freegunner space outlaws in thrilling PvP battles with the DualSense™ Wireless Controller – Concord™ Limited Edition,” the description reads.

“Featuring elements of the Galactic Guide and Faster-Than-Light interstellar travel, the design showcases the colourfully vibrant nature of this new and spectacular sci-fi galaxy.”

The DualSense controller will be released to coincide with the launch of Concord on 23 August so make sure to pre-order if you don’t want to miss out on the fancy new hardware.

In related news, Firewalk Studios recently confirmed that Concord will not feature a battle pass and will introduce post-launch content at no extra cost to its players.

With microtransactions being all the rage in recent years, this is excellent news!
