The PlayStation 5 completely revitalises the PlayStation eco-system by adding so many new features in the next-gen console. But some fans probably might not know about this little hidden feature when it comes to getting trophies in games.
In the PS5 subreddit, a user by the name of helloiamjack shared a small clip from his Demon's Souls playthrough which showed him getting a trophy for beating a boss. What this player didn't realise at the time was that the new trophies system records your microphone's audio whenever you get one.
First time Souls player. I didn't realise that the PS5 records your microphone's audio whenever you get a trophy. Whoops. from r/PS5
Turns out helloiamjack was quite overjoyed when taking down this Demon's Souls boss, making it a very wholesome clip to watch. This new feature on the PS5 will hopefully create a plethora of entertaining clips for folks to share whenever they get trophies in video games.

Along with the feature of recording your audio to capture your reaction when getting a certain trophy, Sony has made a few other changes to the system on the PS5. They've had a bit of a redesign for the new console. From how they look, all the way to how they sound when you get awarded one. On top of that, with the new Activity Cards feature in the PS5 UI, they're now a lot more visible to players, and are even linked with the new guide cards that players can use when playing games.
All in all, there's a variety of new features in there when it comes to trophies, but recording your reaction is one that will spawn many enjoyable clips like helloiamjack's that can be shared across the internet.
