Right now, a PlayStation download worth £50 is available for free and better still, no PS Plus subscription is required.

The free download in question is the ‘Persona 5 Royal DLC Pack’ which includes the ‘Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle’, the ‘Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle', as well as the 'Persona 5 Royal Persona Bundle'. What’s more, it even has a further six individual sets of DLC.

“Persona 5 Royal DLC Pack PS4 version containing all DLC worth £49.99 is now available for free in EU/UK/India/Australia,” posted Redditor kabirsingh84. “The PS5 version has a 4-hour trial on PS Plus Premium and includes all DLC.”

Fellow Reddit user kabirsingh84 also mentioned that this DLC is available in the US for free, along with the regions mentioned above. As you can imagine, the Reddit thread is full of happy Persona fans ready to claim a freebie and to be fair, why wouldn't they?

“Already redeemed it, I'm pretty shocked with this decision. This pack was probably the only reason we didn't get the upgrade path to the ps5 version, so this could potentially mean something,” replied uaitdevil “For now I'll take this chance to play this game again, but I really hope they announce an upgrade path or something during the anniversary event on may.”

If you want to download the free ‘Persona 5 Royal DLC Pack’, head on over to your region's PS Store. Furthermore, there seem to be loads of Persona 5 Royal DLC available for free at the time of writing, as well as some generous discounts. So claim some bargains before it’s too late.

In our review, we said that Persona 5 Royal is: “the definitive version of this title, for newcomers and veterans alike. There are more characters, more things to do and more time in-game to do it all. P-Studio have managed to take a near-perfect game in Persona 5 and elevate it to another level.”
