If you’re a fan of basketball and like free things, then today might just be your lucky day, especially if you enjoy the video game 3on3 Freestyle or 3on3 Freestyle: Rebound as it's known on PC.

3on3 Freestyle is a free-to-play game available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. As I’m sure you’re aware, no free-to-play game is truly free, unless you avoid all microtransaction purchases. If so, then good for you.

Check out the 3on3 Freestyle anniversary trailer below!

As with just about every free-to-play game in existence, those microtransactions are its bread and butter, and without that precious money coming in, those unfortunate free-to-play games face the prospect of servers being shut down and being wiped by Thanos from all existence. Thankfully, at least from co-publisher and developer, Joycity, 3on3 Freestyle has seen a decent amount of success and has recently celebrated its third crossplay birthday.

Granted, the numbers of 3on3 Freestyle aren't blowing anyone away, at least on Steam. At the time of writing, 3on3 Freestyle has just under 300 concurrent players right now according to SteamDB. That being said, when you consider the console versions, presumably, there are enough players to keep this game alive and kicking, for now.

In celebration of the third birthday of 3on3 Freestyle crossplay, Joycity is giving away the ‘3rd Anniversary Gift Pack’. “Let's celebrate the 3rd Anniversary of Crossplay in 3on3 FreeStyle with an awesome gift! To make this moment special, we've put together a bunch of cool in-game stuff that will make your 3on3 experience even better! Grab them now and rule the court!” reads the description of the free DLC.

This piece of free DLC includes 33 Points, 33,333 Coins, Mileage Ticket x3, Selectable Platinum Pack x3, Selectable FS Platinum Pack x3 and Intensive Notes x3. The free DLC can be claimed for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It’s available until 31 January 2024.

3on3 Freestyle is available now on PC and modern consoles (apart from Nintendo Switch).
