PlayStation 5 Users Can Grab A Brand New Freebie Right Now

Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks have teamed up with PlayStation to offer PlayStation 5 users an exclusive freebie.

Who doesn’t love free stuff? I sure do, and today I have a fresh treat for you PlayStation 5 owners from the folks over at Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Cue ‘Ooo.’

I don’t want to bait you - it’s not Deathloop, sorry. That being said, it is Deathloop related and we’re always taught to never shoot a gift horse in the mouth. It’s likely to be the last freebie PlayStation owners will ever get from Bethesda given Microsoft’s acquisition of the company last year.

This artist customises PlayStation 5s with his own artwork. Take a look at the incredible results below.

Without further ado, I will now reveal that PlayStation 5 owners can download … nine free Deathloop avatars. Yay? There are a variety of characters to choose from including leading man Colt. What better way to show your online pals your love of Deathloop than by donning a cheeky little Deathloop avatar?

Announced on the PlayStation Blog, Sony wrote, “Show off your love for your favorite Deathloop character with these free PlayStation 5 avatars featuring the game’s colorful cast, from our hero Colt to the eccentric and chaotic Visionaries. This collection of nine avatars is available for free to all PS5 users.”

The avatars can be downloaded by visiting the PlayStation Store, where you’ll be able to enter the following redemption codes:

  • Europe, Africa, Middle East, Oceania: 3XF7-QANX-CJ6A
  • North America, South America: 7673-6HNN-K887
  • Japan: QQH5-75NA-3TBP
  • Asia: KB3H-FQNJ-5BCT
  • South Korea: AN6J-FGNM-CCH7

Typically in these situations, I’d say don’t hang about because such freebies are only available for a limited time but in this case, you really can hang about. In Japan, the avatars are available to download until 2038 whilst in other territories, they’ll remain available until 2027 so you’ve got a good five years to get downloading.
