The Forza franchise is in the midst of celebrating its 20th anniversary, and you can join in on the celebrations.

Even without the anniversary, it’s already been a monumental year for Forza.

This former Xbox exclusive franchise recently made the leap over to PlayStation, with 2021’s Forza Horizon 5 landing on the PS5 just last month.

It’s a move that’s already proved to be a massive success, with Forza Horizon 5 reportedly shifting 1.4 million copies during its PS5 launch week.

That’s 10 times what Indiana Jones and the Great Circle sold when it was ported to PS5 earlier in the month.

It’s easy money for Microsoft, so I wouldn’t be surprised if plans were already in motion to get Forza Motorsport on the Sony console.

For now though, that particular game does remain an Xbox and PC exclusive, and it’s within this title that you can join in with celebrating the series’ 20th anniversary.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is well worth picking up on PS5 if you’re an Uncharted fan.

Developer Turn 10 Studios has dropped a hefty new update for Forza Motorsport which sees the return of the legendary Fujimi Kaido.

“Forza Motorsport Update 20 is a celebration of our 20-year history and features the return of Fujimi Kaido, a legendary destination for drift enthusiasts and motorsport lovers alike,” wrote the team.

“To help you make the most out of Fujimi Kaido with your friends, this update also introduces one of the top-requested features for Motorsport: Public Meetups. These new multiplayer events will feature Open Track Day and Drift Meetups, where you can vote for the next track to play on, a 24/7 Fujimi Kaido Drift Meetup, and Nürburgring Nordschleife Track Day Meetup.”

The update also adds cover cars from previous Forza Motorsport entries, “each with newly updated audio”, as well as introduces AI improvements and new racing wheel features.

Of course, you do need to own a copy of Forza Motorsport in order to access this update but otherwise, it’s totally free.

By the looks of it, fans are pretty happy with what they’ve received.

“It’s so beautiful. Thank you,” wrote Twitter user theStarWarsHQ, while Doodlegenics added, “This one feels epic. Graphics are insane.”
