Xbox quietly giving away millions in free store credit

Xbox users can be in with a chance of winning $1,000,000 worth of in-store credit, with other users winning slightly less.
If you took a look at Microsoft Rewards last month you’ll have likely seen Microsoft giving away $1,000,000 worth of in-store credit as well as some smaller cash prizes to its users.
Using that in-store credit likely netted users some of the latest AAA games for free, like Assassin’s Creed Shadows

For those who didn’t win last month or missed the competition entirely, fear not, as another has taken its place but this time with an even bigger prize pool.
Taking a gander at the Microsoft Rewards page you’ll see a new sweepstake competition has been added that’s once again offering a winner $1,000,000, and several $10,000 prizes to those who get their entries chosen.
Entering is very, very easy, all you need to do is purchase some entries with your current Microsoft Reward balance, but you will get a few entries free as well.
The more entries you have, the better your chances of winning, so if you’ve got a collection of points that aren’t enough for anything substantial, now might be a good time to use them.
If you are chosen as one of the winners, what you do with your credit is up to you, as you could use it to buy Xbox store gift cards or you could use it on some other form of gift card, whatever you like.
The one you want the most is clearly the $1,000,000 prize but who’d grumble at one of the $10,000?
