Xbox Series X/S gamers can claim this free Indiana Jones and the Great Circle treat with no subscription to Game Pass required.

The time is nearly here, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on PC and Xbox Series X/S next week. Developed by Wolfenstein studio MachineGames, this will be the first Indiana Jones game played in a first-person perspective.

In our hands-on preview of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, we said it’s “shaping up to be what Marvel’s Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games are to their respective superheroes. That is to say, this is a faithful, lovingly made adventure that puts you in the dusty boots of Doctor Jones like never before. I can’t wait to play more.”

To help get into the spirit of Doctor Jones, you can download a free dynamic theme on Xbox Series X/S for right now. To download the theme, simply go to your Xbox settings, then General, followed by Personalisation.

From here, go into My Background, then Dynamic Backgrounds and this is where you’ll find the free Indiana Jones and the Great Circle dynamic theme. Happy days!

“Uncover one of history’s greatest mysteries in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, a first-person, single-player adventure set between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. The year is 1937, sinister forces are scouring the globe for the secret to an ancient power connected to the Great Circle, and only one person can stop them – Indiana Jones,” reads the synopsis of the game.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available on Monday, 9 December 2024 or three days earlier for those who pre-order the Premium or Collector’s Edition.

It’s also included in PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Sadly, at the time of writing, it is not available with the Xbox Game Pass Core tier.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will also be released on PlayStation 5 sometime in spring 2025.
