Xbox users can experience 12 forms of Halo media at no additional cost thanks to Xbox Game Pass.

With all the doom and gloom surrounding the Xbox brand at the moment it’s quite a challenging time to be a fan of Microsoft’s gaming brand. Xbox head Phil Spencer will supposedly reveal the future of the company tomorrow, potentially confirming Xbox exclusive games will begin launching on PlayStation and Nintendo platforms.

This means games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle might not be Xbox-exclusive after all, check out the trailer for that game below

On a brighter note, Xbox users can enjoy just about everything the Halo franchise has to offer all on one subscription thanks to Xbox Game Pass. Since Halo is such an important part of the Xbox brand, at least for the time being, it’s only natural it holds a firm place on the subscription service, which is currently offering 12 free downloads taking through the full sci-fi story and its spin-offs.

Provided you’ve got an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you’ll be able to claim a free 30-day trial for Paramount+, where you’ll be able to watch the second season of the Halo TV show, and additionally play all 11 Halo games currently on Xbox and PC.

These include Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which collects Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach and Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo Wars 1 and 2, Halo: Infinite, and finally the Halo: Spartan Assault.

So there you have it, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy the entire Halo franchise all on one subscription. If you want to enjoy the peak of the series play from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo: Reach. It’s also worth checking out the Halo Wars games if you’re a fan of real-time-strategy titles.

Enjoy them while you can, as there’s every chance Halo will officially go third-party depending on the news we receive tomorrow.
