Xbox users could be sleeping on an incredibly simple way to win a brand-new Xbox console, as many have already won one.
While companies like Xbox and PlayStation are already hard at work on the next-generation of console gaming, now’s still a good time to upgrade to the latest hardware if you haven’t already.

Luckily there’s a quick and simple way to get a brand-new console without spending anything, though you will need to be incredibly lucky.
If you float around the various Xbox subreddits you may have occasionally seen posts of users sharing new Xbox consoles they’ve won through Microsoft Rewards, like a recent thread where one fan was rewarded with an Xbox Series S.
There are a few ways to be in with a chance of winning one, like entering sweepstakes and using Microsoft points to buy digital scratchcards.
The latter feels like the better option out of the two, as you can quickly amass a sizable amount of points to redeem on the cards through completing daily challenges on Microsoft Rewards or partaking in various activities on your current Xbox.
Some users have even reported winning the base model Xbox Series S, but when it eventually turned up it was actually the slightly newer black 1TB model, which is a huge win whether intentional or not.
The only catch is it apparently takes a few weeks to be shipped off to your address, but if it’s free anyway who cares how long it takes to arrive?
So if you’re feeling lucky or if you just have a couple hundred points burning a hole in your Microsoft account try a few digital scratch cards and see what you can win.
