Xbox users still think Microsoft Rewards is one of the best rewards programs on the market, despite several important changes.

For those unaware Microsoft Rewards is a program that gives you points to exchange for a variety of freebies, though the one Xbox fans will be most interested in are free store credit and subscriptions to Xbox Game Pass.

It’s had a bit of a decline in quality over the years, offering less and less with Xbox rewards moving over to a separate app integrated into the consoles themselves.

That being said users still think it’s worth your time, and are praising it for being one of the best rewards programmes offered at the moment, even better than PlayStation Stars.

In a Reddit thread by Jolly289 asking fans for their opinion on the service, one fan said“Even in its current form it is still the most generous rewards program I know. By a wide margin.”

Another went on to say that while it’s becoming “less lucrative” it “completely funds my gaming. I just cashed out all of my points on Xbox Game Pass in anticipation of the price increases. I have my subscription paid for through March of 2025 and will keep earning.”

Finally one user confessed “It’s definitely not what it once was, but still (atleast for me, US based) is worth doing.”

Most of the points you earn are for the most basic of activities too, and sometimes fans are even given points for free just for being a Microsoft Rewards user.

If you’re looking for things to spend those points on you could save up for the gift cards, but if you want to be really daring go for the digital scratchcards, as some users are walking with entire Xbox Series S consoles, free-of-charge.
