Xbox is back with another batch of free titles and amongst some hidden gems, users will be able to get their hands on one of 2025’s biggest releases so far.

Courtesy of its Free Play Days event, Microsoft has announced the latest batch of games which will be available to play for free between the 23 and 26 of October.

This time, an impressive five games are up for grabs and with Halloween just around the corner, Xbox users will be pleased to know that this includes some of the spookiest games around. So without further ado, let us take a look at the latest batch of Free Play Days titles.

First up is Descenders Next, the “ultimate extreme sports game” featuring sprawling snowy peaks, winding dirt tracks, and a whole lot of tracks to conquer.

Released back in July, this snowboarding title is unlike any other as not only can you take to those snowy peaks, but you can also grab your mountainboard and take to even harder terrain.

Will you and your friends have what it takes to become the Next Ultimate Descenders?

EA Sports FC 26/
Electronic Arts

Next is the big one: EA Sports FC 26. As the latest entry in the football simulation series, this one was released only in September and so this is the first time that you will be able to get stuck in for absolutely free.

Featuring an overhauled gaming experience, fans can expect much of the same and yet so much more as they take on Manager Live Challenges in an attempt to bring fresh new stories to the pitch.

If you want something a bit more chill however, you can grab House Flipper 2.

As the sequel to the beloved House Flipper, House Flipper 2 offers the chance to become a local rental legend as you buy, fix, and sell your very own properties.

Play alone or with up to four friends as you tackle some of your biggest projects yet in both sandbox and story mode.

Time for some horror games

Now it is time for the Halloween games as both Phasmophobia and The Outlast Trials are also free for the next few days.

Phasmophobia will see you team up with friends to explore haunted locations and it will be up to you to combine teamwork to work out what sort of spirit is causing havoc.

Prepare for a whole lot of laughs and scares as you equip ghost-hunting tools and get to work.

On the other hand, The Outlast Trials may not be as funny as players can expect untold horrors in this first-person psychological horror game inspired by Outlast.

Take on the role of test subjects during a mysterious Cold War experiment and get ready for a whole lot of blood, gore, and outright terror.

To be able to play House Flipper 2 and Phasmophobia, you will have to have access to an Xbox Game Pass Essential, Xbox Game Pass Premium or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription

However, the other three titles are available for all Xbox users until 26 October.
