If you are on the lookout for a brand-new game to get stuck into but don’t want to splash the cash, then these four exciting titles that just landed on Xbox are worth checking out.

Purchasing games outright in 2025 is a definite investment so sometimes you just need to sit back and chill with a game that hasn’t damaged your bank account.

On the market for the latest Xbox model? Check them out in the trailer below!

Luckily, Microsoft is aware of this by regularly adding games to the Xbox Store that cost absolutely nothing and also give players the chance to try some epic titles before they are fully released.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at the games.

First is Into the Restless Ruins, a roguelike deckbuilder based around Scottish folklore.

Developed by Ant Workshop Ltd, players will get to create the very dungeons they will need to fight through as they use their cards to expand the ruins, takedown enemies and harvest Glimour in order to improve their deck.

Next is Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, an epic action RPG set in a dark fantasy world.

Set across a 40+ hour story, players will get to battle monsters, master six unique classes, craft hundreds of useful items, and explore an interconnected world all whilst enforcing the King Priest’s will as an Inquisitor.

There is also Metal Eden, a sci-fi FPS where you will become a member of an advanced unit sent on a suicide mission to rescue citizens from a vast monolithic city.

With the new home for humanity now nothing but a dangerous trap, it will be up to you and your teammates to blast your way through enemies in cybernetic warfare.

Last but not least is 3D Don’t Die Mr. Robot, a fast-paced, arcade-style collect-’em-up title where you take on the role of Mr. Robot, a little robot who is trapped in a highly dangerous and fruit-filled dimension.
