Xbox Quietly Adds 9 New Freebies, No Game Pass Required

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass streaming service offers great value for money, and depending on the tier, you’ll get first-party games at launch, such as the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

What’s more, you’ll even get exclusive perks such as free DLC, discounts and with the Ultimate tier, you’ll get access to cloud streaming, EA Play and more too. All in all, it’s a good deal regardless of the tier.

But sometimes it’s nice to check out some Xbox games without having to cough up the cash, whether it's something of the free-to-play variety or the topic of today’s discussion, free demos.

Demos are particularly handy because not only can we sample a game on our radar, but they can save us some money, too. After all, there’s not much worse as a gamer than when we waste our money on a game that fell well below par. A free demo can reduce that prospect.
