Ahead of the weekend, Xbox has released five new free downloads to get stuck into it. Better yet? There is no subscription needed.

With many big releases coming out over the next few months, shelling out that much cash is always a big commitment.

Check out the trailer for Visions of Mana ahead of its full launch next week!

However, thanks to Microsoft, we can now try before we buy and there are five exciting Xbox titles up for grabs.

First up is Mexico, 1921: A Deep Slumber, an action-adventure title with an emotional and intriguing narrative.

Set in the 1920s, you will play as a photojournalist who will gather evidence to discover who was behind the assassination of President Álvaro Obregón.

“Developed hand in hand with the National Newspaper Library and the Popular Arts Museum, this game will be an interactive archive of Mexican post-revolutionary history.”

Next is Shadow of the Ninja, an action-adventure platformer where you will get to show off your ninja skills in this remake of “a legendary dark and futuristic classic”.

Eden Genesis is yet another platformer focused on fast-paced trials, quick reflexes and a rich story.

You will take on the role of young cyborg, Leah who must overcome challenges in order to liberate her corrupted mind.

Those looking for a strategy simulation game can check out Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure.

With Real Time Strategy, explore a strange fantasy world, uncover the secrets of the past, automate your workshops and go on adventures with your adorable Sparks.

Last but certainly not least is Visions of Mana, a brand-new RPG by Square Enix.

Explore a world of elemental spirits as you adventure in the latest entry in the Mana series ahead of its full release next week.

All of these free downloads and more are available for Xbox Series X/S so make sure you don’t miss out.
