What wonderful news, just in time for the weekend. Xbox has added three classic games that are available to download for free.

If you didn’t know about this until now, that’s because Xbox has been rather quiet about this surprise drop.

Instead of singing it from the rooftops, it’s kept it hush-hush.

Thankfully, Redditors were on hand to make sure we were alerted to the news – what would we do without them!

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has landed on Xbox Game Pass.

Fans who remember the original three games will want to add this to their library for that much needed dose of nostalgia.

Are you ready for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy?

User marzbarzx described it as their childhood laid at before them after seeing the announcement.

Another fan said it was “like Christmas” to see these games available.

Everyone is delighted to see such a beloved set of games within accessible reach... Everyone save those who aren’t Game Pass subscribers.

As you may have spotted earlier, this is a subscription service deal; if you want to experience these titles without the aid of Game pass, it’ll cost you $39.99.

Frustrating though this may be for some of you, considering how long it’ll take you to unlock all the achievements in the first game, it’s worth the price.

Assuming you don’t throw your controller out of the window first, that is.

Old games returning seems to be a recurring theme for Xbox after it confirmed a remake we’ve been begging for is finally in the works.

Now if we could just get a new Spyro game, we’d be extremely happy.

Xbox Game Pass is delivering an especially stunning lineup of free games this August, so it might be time for you to renew that subscription...?

Whatever you intend to do this weekend, we hope it includes lots of Crash Bandicoot.
