Xbox $1 million free store credit available for you to claim until 31 December in giveaway

If you want to become a millionaire courtesy of Xbox, then you’re in the right place with Microsoft’s massive get-rich-quick competition.

Microsoft Rewards gifts users points for performing simple tasks such as using the Bing web browser, making purchases on the Microsoft and Xbox stores, and using a Rewards Hub on the Xbox console. You can also earn points through Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft Rewards has inspired other rewards schemes such as Sony’s PlayStation Stars which gives you points that can be spent on store credit, games and digital collectables for completing simple campaigns.

However, as True Achievements reported, Microsoft's epic competition, the “Ultimate Giveaway,” will reward one lucky gamer with a whopping $1,000,000 in reward points with its latest sweepstakes.

What’s more, there will be 10 runners-up prizes worth a very generous $10,000 in Microsoft Rewards points. At the time of writing, the sweepstakes is only active for another 11 days with it ending on 31 December 2024.

The “Ultimate Giveaway” is eligible in multiple regions across the world and according to current conversion rates, $1,000,000 is worth roughly £762,000 in the UK and €900,000 in the EU.

There are multiple ways to earn an entry such as adding the Microsoft Rewards extension to your browser, spending money on the Microsoft Store, purchasing Call of Duty Points and more. Each user can enter the sweepstakes no more than 200 times.

Of course, the chances of winning this sweepstake are incredibly slim but can you imagine all the goodies you’ll be able to buy if you somehow win?
