A Starfield fan who just wants to share the love has put together an unofficial giveaway in which a fellow gamer can pick up a free copy of Bethesda's open-world RPG.

Bethesda's massive new game is easily one of the most-hyped games of the last few years, and it's easy to see why. Starfield has over 1,000 planets to explore, most of which have a bigger map than Skyrim, and players can even build their own starship and adventure through the galaxy. It looks to be a hugely immersive sim, and early impressions are strong.

Take a look at Starfield in action below!

Over on r/pcmasterrace, one kind-hearted fan who has found themselves with two codes for Starfield has decided to simply give one of them away. Because it turns out sometimes people are quite nice, actually. To enter this giveaway, all you need to do is share your gaming story.

"I received two keys when ordering a GPU and a CPU," writes u/KeycapS_. "One for you! You should leave a comment where you would tell a little story about how you got started playing on the computer. Your profile must be at least three months old to have a chance to win."

This is, of course, an incredibly wholesome situation, and the entire thread is definitely worth a read if you want to see some heartwarming stories about gamers and the video games that made them fall in love with the best medium in the world.

Winners will be selected in a couple of days, so if you do fancy getting involved with this you'll need to be quick. If not, just sit back and enjoy the fact that sometimes people can do generous, decent things just for the heck of it. It's nice to be reminded of that from time to time. Hats off to you, KeycapS_.
