Gears Of War 6 news is being teased for 2024, now’s the time to get hyped.
The last Gears Of War game to grace our Xbox consoles was Gears Of War 5 in 2019, a great game that left us desperate for more, especially since it featured multiple endings for the first time in the series.

While it’s a certainty that Gears Of War 6 is on the way, hardly anything has been said about its release or planned content, an odd choice considering its one of the leading Xbox exclusives alongside Halo, the Forza games and now some of Bethesda’s famous franchises.
It seems we’ll be getting an update in 2024 though, as a cryptic tweet from The Coalition level designer Benjamin Huyghe hints at a planned reveal.
Responding to a tweet from the official Gears Of War account wishing fans “Happy Holidays,” Huyghe said “See you in 2024 #Gearsfam.”
While nothing has been officially confirmed by The Coalition or Xbox, it does point to some sort of news being shared next year. Whether that’s simply a short teaser trailer or a full-blown gameplay reveal is another question, but honestly fans will likely take whatever they can get at this point.
Despite a lack of official news, there’s been an abundance of insider reports and rumours surrounding the next Gears Of War game. One report suggests the game will go in a completely new direction than previous games, swapping linear level design for an open world instead.
Even the series creator is excited for the future of the franchise, going as far to say they’d be interested in returning to lead the sixth mainline game.
Of course, take all of this speculation with a pinch of salt, but given how long it’s been since Gears Of War 5, there’s every chance Gears Of War 6 is right around the corner, with 2024 being a safe bet for an official reveal.
