Those looking to upgrade to the new-gen could bag a limited-edition Xbox Series X and 12 months of Xbox Game Pass via a new competition.

Those looking to upgrade to the new-gen could bag a limited-edition Xbox Series X and 12 months of Xbox Game Pass via a new competition.

Xbox is giving away a shiny new Xbox Series X to celebrate the recent launch of Final Fantasy XIV, an MMO that’s finally been ported to Microsoft’s consoles.

Speaking of Final Fantasy, check out GAMINGBible’s 10/10 review for Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth

The full bundle of goodies includes a stunning blue Series X atop a golden pedestal, surrounded by crystals, with a blue controller to match.

It’s worth noting this isn't a functional console unfortunately, as the fine-print of the contest states it’s supposed to be an art-piece, but don’t worry, a stand fully-functioning Xbox Series X is also included.

The lucky winner will also receive a copy of Final Fantasy XIV Online Complete Collector’s Edition, though the real cherry on top is a 12-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

As we all know Xbox Game Pass is the best gaming subscription on the market at the moment, packing a variety of incredible titles as well as some ace free downloads as a little treat for its subscribers.

There can unfortunately only be one winner for the giveaway, and entering is incredibly simple so you’ll have steep competition.

To enter, all you have to do is follow the two accounts named in the post, then retweet it using the Final Fantasy hashtag given to be automatically enrolled into the prize draw.

The competition will end on 28 March, which is about two weeks away, with a winner being drawn and contacted shortly after.

Chances of winning are slim, but when the prizes are as good as the ones on offer there’s no harm in trying your luck and giving it a go.
