While we wait for the arrival of The Elder Scrolls 6, Bethesda has another new RPG adventure that we should be excited about.

It’s hard to believe that at this point, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls 6 well over six years ago during E3 2018. Yet, since that time, we’ve not seen any gameplay, what platforms it will release on and of course, no release date.

Check out the Starfield: Shattered Space trailer below!

While we wait for whenever the next entry in The Elder Scrolls series decides to crawl from beneath the woodwork, we at least have classic entries such as Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim to keep us busy for those that subscribe to Xbox Game Pass.

What’s more, players can also embark on epic adventures in Bethesda’s most recent RPG, Starfield, which gets its first expansion, Shattered Space, arriving later this month.

In our hands-off preview of Starfield: Shattered Space, GAMINGbible’s Kate said: “There’s still a lot I don’t know about Starfield’s Shattered Space expansion, but I can’t shake the feeling that what’s on the way is exactly what the game needs.”

It’s no secret that despite all the hype, many gamers felt let down by what Starfield had to offer but after a series of content updates which now include land vehicles, this sci-fi RPG is finally starting to live up to expectations and many hope that Shattered Space will take it up another notch.

“Explore a fully handcrafted new location and unravel the mysteries surrounding the followers of the Great Serpent. House Va’ruun is on the brink of collapse and their people need help finding a path forward,” reads the description of Shattered Space.

“When your sudden presence on their hidden home planet is seen by some as divine intervention, it’s up to you to restore House Va’ruun and decide the fate of this secretive faction.”

To give us an added taste of what to expect in Starfield: Shattered Space, Bethesda has just released a 10-minute deepdive video giving us our best look at the highly anticipated expansion.

Starfield: Shattered Space releases on 30 September 2024 for PC and Xbox Series X/S. It will also be available at no extra cost for those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
