Time is slipping away with this offer, and unlike the Doctor, you can’t travel back in time to right your wrong if you miss out.

It’s not often a major download drops in our laps, especially one completely free of charge, yet here we are.

Take a moment to bask in its glory. But not too long, as you only have until 28 July to claim it.

Up until the date given, Xbox and PlayStation players can play Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora for free.

When we reviewed this Ubisoft adventure last year, we described it as “more than a Far Cry blueskin”.

But it wasn’t just us impressed by what the title had to offer; the fans were too. Many declared the experience "an absolute blast”.

To be able to play “up to five hours” of Frontiers of Pandora doesn’t occur often, so now is the time to grab this opportunity if you’ve yet to play the game.

Best of all, if you decide you want to continue playing after the free trial finishes, you can do so for a reduced price thanks to Ubisoft giving “up to 50 percent” off.

Despite the full game offering the option to play with friends thanks to its co-op mode, this isn’t available during the free trial.

Still, it gives you a large amount of time to adjust to the controls, see what the world of the game has to offer, and for you to ultimately decide whether it’s a thumbs up or thumbs down.

The progress you make in the free download will carry over should you purchase the game.

Although we’ve already mentioned the tight timeframe of this major download, we feel it only right to remind you that the clock is ticking; you have until 28 July. That’s next week, folks.
