If you have ever thought that Birmingham needs saving then you are not the only one according to this upcoming open-world survival game.
In God Save Birmingham, you will be doing just that in a zombie-filled RPG inspired by the greats such as The Last of Us and Valheim.
God Save Birmingham will feature survival elements just like Valheim.
Developed by Ocean Drive Studio, God Save Birmingham is an open-world survival game where you will need to survive an undead plague in a medieval market town.

Now that doom has come to Birmingham, you will need to manage your needs, physics-based mechanics, and most of all, survive the horde before you become the very thing you fear the most.
Set in 14th century Birmingham, God Save Birmingham will soon be arriving in early access and here is what fans can look forward to.
Now that villagers are being turned into the undead at an alarming rate, you are one of the last survivors and it is up to you to fight off your old neighbours with just your wits and a few weapons to help you.
As well as surviving zombies, you will need to survive the 14th century and this means keeping an eye on resources and supplies if you wish to craft useful items and weapons. With the horde always near, players will want to stock up on food and water or the horde will be the least of your worries.

God Save Birmingham also boasts impressive physics-based mechanics as you will be able to barricade doors, parkour away from enemies, and even sever limbs to stop foes in their tracks.
However, the environment can hinder as much as it can aid and tripping over a bucket as you flee may just result in your death.
“Explore a carefully reconstructed 14th century Birmingham, in all its bucolic, bubonic glory,” the official Steam synopsis reads.
“Stop by the Markets or the Burgage Plots to forage for resources. Raid boarded-up smithies for tools, grab a drink at the nearest tavern, and explore historic architecture at the Church of St. Martin in the Bull Ring.”
