Steam users don’t have long left to bag $100 of free store credit

Steam users have just a couple more days to bag $100 of store credit in a fantastic giveaway.

If you’re something who enjoys PC gaming, I can almost guarantee that you’re a regular visitor to Steam. It’s undoubtedly the best PC storefront.

While new major releases may set you back a pretty penny, there are plenty of reasonable indie discoveries to be made over on Steam too. We recently stumbled across the delightful Pine Hearts, a game that captures the cosy aesthetic of Stardew Valley whilst promising a The Legend of Zelda approach to its gameplay. There are also plenty of free-to-play delights to enjoy too, with six more appearing on the storefront as of this morning. While many indie releases may offer free demos to lure you in, one upcoming release is offering $100 of free store credit to one lucky Steam user.

Take a look at the aforementioned Pine Hearts below.

The giveaway sees studio Falling State’s Earl vs. the Mutants team up with popular Twitter account SteamGamesPC - which is a great account to follow, by the way, if you want to stay in the know on all the latest Steam offers. One lucky winner will walk about with $100 of free Steam store credit and it’s very simple to enter.

All you need to do is follow SteamGamesPC and FallingState on Twitter, wishlist Earl vs. the Mutants on Steam, plus retweet and like the giveaway tweet. It’s that easy. The only catch is that the giveaway closes on 2 February so you need to act fast.

Earl vs. the Mutants is an upcoming post-apocalyptic top-down survival roguelite that sees, you guessed it, a fella called Earl taking on never-ending waves of mutants. While it’s currently down simply to launch during 2024, it does have a demo available to sample now.
