A new free-to-play game has landed on Steam, and it’s already garnered rave reviews from its players.

If you’re looking for something new to play with your pals then you might want to download Swing Into Zero-G.

Developed and published by Divinus Games, Swing Into Zero-G is a “fast-paced multiplayer racing game set in the vastness of space” that launched just a few days ago.

“Compete against friends or online rivals in intense races, where quick reflexes and strategic use of diverse skills determine the victor. Embrace the challenge of swinging your way to victory in this exhilarating space-themed race,” reads the synopsis.

As this is a racing game, you might assume I’m talking about vehicular racing; I’m not.

Swing Into Zero-G sees players participate in what are essentially parkour races, where you’ll need to hop, swing, and jump your way to victory.

There are a variety of different tracks available each with their own obstacles.

In one, you may need to navigate a twisting and turning space station, while another will see you dodge asteroids utilising unique gravity mechanics.

Of course, if you don’t want to face off against your friends or online players, you can enjoy Swing Into Zero-G in a solo play capacity.

For its multiplayer mode, up to four players can participate in a single race.

I’ve yet to try Swing Into Zero-G myself, but the game looks like heaps of fun - something that’s been verified by its players.

The game already has a ‘Very Positive’ review accolade over on Steam, where it’s playable.

“Pretty fun game overall and great for groups. It looks kinda easy to play but surprisingly some of the mechanics were somewhat challenging to master. It's one of those games you'd want to get better at just so you can beat your friends easily. I'd say give it a go if you and your friends enjoy similar party games,” wrote one player.

“It's a fun, competitive runner game that you can play with your friends or randos. It has nice soundtracks and easy controls that anybody can adjust to in no time, ALSO how the hell does this game have better servers than Apex Legends,” added another.

Listen, people are loving it, it’s free … What more could you possibly want?
