After years of absence, Miscrits: World of Creatures has been resurrected on Steam and players are loving the return.
I’m going to be honest, I’ve never heard of this game, which was apparently a big one back in the OG days of Facebook, but Steam users seem to be enjoying it all over again.
Sitting on a Very Positive rating after only a couple of days since release, Miscrits is tapping into nostalgia with an engaging game about battling monsters.

It’s all about catching, training and battling creatures you find across the land of Miscria, and there’s potential to play against others to see who the better trainer is.
Obviously, this is very reminiscent of Pokémon, but it retains the social aspects from the days on Facebook.
“This game made the childhood for many of us, and to see that it's been back with a bang is heartening to see for all of us out there,” said one Steam user in their review.
Another long-time fan said, “Thank you, GK and Minato and to the whole Miscrits community, my beloved childhood game on Facebook is back. What a lovely feeling, let's go bois! 100/10! Recommended.”

This is definitely one that passed by many of us, but it had millions of fans until it was shut down.
Now, given a new lease of life, fans old and new can catch different monsters and battle it out with eye-popping visuals.
“As someone who sunk untold thousands of hours back when this was a Facebook game, I can definitely recommend this. It stayed true to the original and brings back so many amazing memories!” comments another fan.
Miscrits: World of Creatures is free-to-play and seems perfect for those looking for a casual game to drop in on occasionally.
