If you’re a regular here, then you’ll know that there certainly isn’t a shortage of free games on PC storefront Steam.

And I’m here to fill you in on four of the latest additions, helping you differentiate the hits from the misses.

As always, thank you to SteamGamesPC for bringing these to our attention.

Let’s begin with PropWiz, a multiplayer party game from indie dev Tony Wang and publisher Iron Prodigy.

From what I can tell, you’ll be participating in a take on hide-and-seek.

It’s not exactly the game you’ll have played as a kid though as you’ll be able to use special abilities to evade your opponents with several different maps available.

There isn’t a review consensus on this one just yet, but it looks like it may make for a fun hour or two with a couple of buddies.

Let’s move onto Overgrown from Three Raccoons in a Trench Goat.

This one’s a two-player co-op exploration and puzzle game.

Essentially, you’ll step into the shoes of a robot and a raccoon who are trying to explore a city that’s been overtaken by nature.

Its wordless storytelling seeks to convey a tale of disregard and abandonment.

With retro-inspired graphics, it looks rather delightful.

“Fun little game! It needs some polish but I enjoyed it. I really liked the vibe,” reads one early review.

If you enjoy dungeon crawlers, then I’ll direct your attention towards WolverineSoft Studio’s Cor Draconis.

“Gather a team of magical adventurers, conquering dungeons and collecting enough fossils to revive the dragon that once protected the lands,” the synopsis reads.

“Grow your settlement into a bustling city, rid the land of monsters, and restore magic and peace to the nation once more!”

There’s a cosy fantasy feel about the game’s aesthetics.

Again, no reviews yet on this title so you’ll have to step into the unknown if you want to give it a whirl.

Finally, I bring you Heart Incremental from Grest Games OÜ.

This is an automation game where your goal is to heat up the planet, by moving away from clean energy to more volatile methods.

The more explosions you cause, the better off you’ll be.

Devs warn that the title is hard and includes puzzling elements but that it’s a worthwhile challenge.

It’s a strange premise considering the real life concerns over climate change.

Unfortunately, this game does contain pretty obvious pay-to-win mechanics so it may be one to miss.

If nothing here has quite appealed to you, it’s always worth checking out Steam’s latest trending free titles.
