Steam users can now pick up a series of new free games which have been added to the store.

If you’re a PC gamer on a tight budget, or have no budget at all, accessing free games can be a great way to stay entertained without breaking the bank.

Luckily, Steam gets a bunch of new free games each week ranging from indie developers releasing their first games, to occasionally long-time studios releasing their newest game as a free-to-play title.

The latest batch of free games on Steam range from point-and-click puzzle adventures to top-down horror games, and can be downloaded now by going to their respective store pages.

I’ve included store links to some of the best, but you can seek out the rest by searching for them on the Steam client. Let’s dive in.

Pixel Rain

“A chill falling-sand pixel physics sandbox. Paint with hundreds of interactive materials — water, lava, acid, crystals, plants and more — discover recipes, build your own elements in the Workshop, and watch it all react in real time. No goals. No pressure. Just pixels.”

“Pantomime Horse Obstacle Course is a wacky, slapstick, co-op platformer. Grab a friend and two gamepads, and show off your teamwork - or drag your partner to the finish line (sometimes literally). Filled with chaotic levels and tough challenges for you to complete, get out there and break a leg!”

Horseplay

Card Night at Gigi's

“Pull up a chair at Gigi's table. Six classic card games — Setback, Hearts, Cribbage, No-Limit Hold'em, Spades, Euchre — wrapped in a cozy cocktail-lounge hub.”

Joey Beans Games
