Steam Offers Up 4 Brand-New Free Games You'll Have Missed

Steam has dropped four free new games that you can download and play today.

Whether it’s free-to-play titles such as Fortnite or Rocket League, a playable demo for an upcoming AAA release or one for a potential indie darling, it’s always a blessing to check out video games that won't cost us a penny.

Of course, there are still tons of stinkers that will still make us feel ripped off when it comes to our time spent with the game, but at least we haven't parted with our cash (hopefully).

Demos and trials, especially, are very helpful, as they can often drastically reduce the chances of us throwing our money down the proverbial drain on a game that we’ve been looking forward to

What’s more, the Steam store, for better or worse, is stacked with indie games with the hope of discovering a potential darling that will garner welcomed support for a developer from its community.

With that in mind, as brought to our attention by the Twitter account, ‘Free Steam Games’, here are four indie games that you can download today that may have flown under your radar:

• Crony Corp: “Build your empire in a competitive world shaped by supply, demand, & shady deals. In Crony Corp, you’ll buy and manufacture goods in a live market that responds to every player’s actions. Trade smart, undercut rivals, bend the rules, and climb the corporate ladder. Just don’t expect fair play.”
• Flying Courier: “Is a simulation game about a day of experience in a courier airship. Players will complete the task of deliveries, enjoy the view from different landscapes, and help people from around the world with their requests.”
• Myth of Lumi: “Is a 3D physics-based turf war game where you duel rival magicians in card-throwing showdowns. Set in the underground utopian city of Prospera, play as Luce, an ambitious street performer striving to join the legendary Conclave—an elite circle of top-tier magicians.”
• ScreeIN: “Blends exploration, environmental puzzles, and narrative horror into an episodic structure. Each 'channel' is a level designed around a specific trauma, a specific rule, a specific lie. Some are quiet. Some are violent. All are watching you.”

Hopefully, at least one of the above free games on Steam tickles your fancy. If not, at least the only thing you’ve wasted is a bit of time.
