Steam users won’t want to miss out on this latest free game, which they can add to their library right now.

While it may not deliver the AAA goodness that the Epic Games store does from time to time, Steam is still an absolute gold mine for bitesize indie games you can add to your library at no additional cost.

Speaking of AAA, take a look at the story trailer for Marvel 1943: Rise Of Hydra below

The next freebie currently on offer is a game called Deceit 2, an online mystery game about deduction, treachery and more, and the best part is you can play it with your friends.

The game’s official Steam page description reads: “Deceit 2 is an online social deduction horror game. Inspire fear as the Terror, play detective as the Innocent, or create mayhem as the Cursed. Trapped with friends and strangers: who can you trust to help you escape?”

Players will need to either trick and eliminate the rest of the group, or figure out who’s trying to lead them astray.

It falls into the same type of genre hit games like Among Us have championed, and while the mixed reviews don’t suggest it’s on par with some of the best the genre has to offer, it’s still a free game at the end of the day.

Fear not though, if Deceit 2 doesn’t sound like your cup of tea there are plenty more free games available to download and play.

In fact, if you hopped onto the platform a day earlier you’d have been able to download Content Warning, a title strikingly similar to Lethal Company though much scarier.

Steam’s extensive library of games changes just about every day, so keep your eyes peeled for the latest free offerings that could become one of your new favourite games.
