Steam free RPG is perfect for Fallout and Resident Evil fans

Fallout meets Resident Evil in this fight for survival

Lovers of Fallout and Resident Evil, rejoice, for there’s a new RPG on the way that combines those two great series to create a memorable experience.

An upcoming Steam title is promising to test your survival skills to the max, as you’re forced to fight for your lives after a “global pandemic” leaves the world in ruins.

It’s a bit on the nose theme wise, but hey, that’s zombie games for you. Besides, it wouldn’t be fun to play this PC title if it didn’t hit those familiar tropes and hit them hard.

Can you handle the Undead City?

“After a global pandemic, humanity has to survive against hordes of zombies in the ‘Undead City’.”

“Set in a post-apocalyptic world crawling with zombies and raiders, this action-packed FPS game throws players into intense battles, [where] every single decision means life or death,” concludes the synopsis.

For those still hooked on Fallout after watching Amazon’s new series, this is the perfect way to dive back into the terror of fighting for survival, but without recovering old ground.

We can’t say you’ll be as skilled as Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy, but hopefully you can channel that same kind of energy to help keep you alive.

You don’t have long for this RPG to launch: it’ll release on 29 April, assuming its launch goes to plan. In the meantime, you can download and play its demo for free.

Unfortunately, this does appear to be a Microsoft only game, aka no Macs allowed; it sucks, we know. Hopefully though, once the game has released, and assuming said release goes well, it’ll become compatible with Mac too.

Your fight for survival is only just beginning – will you make it, or will you fall victim to the walking dead roaming the cities?
