A new free Steam RPG has 100% positive reviews on the PC platform, so it might be worth checking out.

For better or worse, the Steam store has thousands of games to choose from with AAA big hitters, indie darlings and retro classics of yesteryear never in short supply.

Sure, the digital PC store has a lot of slop, but it also has tons of fantastic games that may have flown under our radar, and one such title could be the topic of today’s story.

When it comes to free games on Steam, they can come in the form of demos, free-to-play or simply a full indie game that the kind indie developer has decided not to charge us a penny to play.

Granted, there may be a good reason why a game is free, such as it being trash, but you never know, you might just uncover a diamond in the rough (hopefully).

The game that is the topic of today’s article is developed and published by the Chinese studio, Latido ST. Please bear with me, because Google has translated this, but the game is apparently called “Queen, Please Train Your Male Favourites”.

That title may be poorly translated, but at least it’s quite humorous. It also has quite a few boxes ticked in its genre categories, namely ‘indie’, ‘RPG’, ‘casual’, ‘action’, ‘adventure’ and ‘strategy’, so make of that what you will.

However, perhaps the most important piece of information related to this game, other than its seemingly poorly translated title, is the fact that it has a 100% “Positive” Steam user review rating at the time of writing.

It’s perhaps worth keeping in mind that some of those positive user review ratings could be bots, but even if a few are genuine, it’s still quite impressive nonetheless.

“From princess to queen, facing numerous calculations, step by step in love, encountering hundreds of characters with different personalities, one after another,” reads its translated synopsis on Steam.

“Including an arrogant young man, a gentle childhood sweetheart, a mysterious boy, and a black-bellied fox. How should you choose when your fate is intertwined?”

The game is currently in its early access phase, so if you encounter bugs or missing features, that’s likely the reason why. What’s more, it’s only available in traditional and simplified Chinese languages, so hopefully, English support will be added via an update one day.

Queen, Please Train Your Male Favourites does not have a full release date just yet, so be sure to add it to your Steam wishlist to be notified when that information drops.
