It is hard to believe that another weekend is just around the corner and with the weather taking a turn for the worse, what better way to spend the free time than by diving into some equally as free games?

That is more possible than ever this weekend thanks to Steam which has added another batch of free games to its PC storefront.

Ranging from a short horror game to a roguelike, an interactive novel to a 2D action game, this list is bound to have something for everyone.

So without further ado, let us take a look at the newest batch of free Steam games up for grabs.

First up is Overtime Syndrome - A Late Night Shift Story.

In this “ultra-short horror game”, players will get to take on what originally seems like a standard nightshift at the office.

However, when the office is suddenly overcome with an eerie, unsettling atmosphere, you will soon discover that your missing co-workers and ever-dimming lights may just be due to the presence of a mysterious entity.

Will you have what it takes to make it to the end of your shift?

If you are looking for something a bit less spooky, you can check out Accelerator Operator.

Complete with catchy title, this cash-chasing roguelike will see you harness the power of an atom in order to build a chain reaction and maybe even walk away with a profit.

Featuring four difficulties to choose from, this casual roguelike will see you use eight element types to provide a challenge for all manner of players and see who can come out on top.

Now For Something a Bit More Calming

Prometheus in a Jar is an interactive visual novel where your choices will push the story forward step-by-step until both the truth of the world, and your game as a whole, is revealed.

With your decisions determining your fate, how your story ends will be entirely up to you and as a result, multiple endings will be accessible.

Last but not least is Hiss & Hunt, a fast-paced 2D action game where you will battle against fellow snakes.

With multiple levels to undertake, you will have to boost through chaos, outsmart rivals and grow in order to dominate the arena.

Fans of old-school Snake will love this new-take on the title with non-stop action and endless replayability.

All of these titles and hundreds more are free to download and keep on Steam right now so if you are ever stuck on what to play next, make sure to check out the PC storefront.
