It will be up to you to dive into the depths of the dungeons as you battle fearsome creatures, grab powerful weapons, upgrade your skills and fight to survive for as long as possible.

“Before you lay an eerie labyrinth of dark corridors filled with danger and hidden threats,” the official synopsis reads.

“In these gloomy catacombs hide nightmarish creatures, ready to tear apart anyone who dares to enter. Your goal is simple but ruthless - to survive.

Explore the abandoned halls using deadly weapons and adapt to the ever-increasing threat. But remember: resources are limited, enemies know no mercy, and time is your main enemy.

Will you be able to survive in this deadly game?”

Dungeon Ascent features creepy atmospheres, increasing difficulties and an arsenal of different weapons to try out and as a result, the indie title has already received multiple raving reviews, cementing it at a ‘very positive’ rating on Steam.

One review read: “It's a good, addictive roguelike game and reminiscent of mechanics from Darkest Dungeon.”

Another wrote: “A very good roguelike, having played about a year ago, having reviewed the cart and the small cart of representatives of this genre - it was nice to come back and see that the game was improved and worked with balance, and now it's a strong and good roguelike!

10/10.”

As mentioned, Dungeon Ascent is free to play over on Steam so if you are a PC gamer and fancy playing something new this weekend, make sure you check out this sparkling new roguelike.
