If you want to claim a free Steam game, then you need to act within the next 24 hours to avoid missing out.

The Steam Store is packed full of games to play, whether it's major AAA releases, indie darlings or retro classics of yesteryear that we may have long forgotten about.

It’s also a place where we can find a ton of free games, and not just free-to-play battle royale shooters and demos, but sometimes, as in the case of this story, games that have had a 100% price reduction.

As brought to our attention by Wario64 on Twitter, one such game is Dead in Bermuda, developed and published by the indie studio, Ishtar Games.

“Dead in Bermuda is a survival management game with RPG and adventure elements, in which you lead a team of eight survivors from a plane crash on a strange island,” reads the description of the game on Steam.

“Assign your survivors to tasks, gain experience and develop your survival skills, research and craft new items for the camp, explore the island for resources and solve the mysteries behind an ancient Atlantean prophecy.”

Released in 2015, Dead in Bermuda currently has a “Mostly Positive” review rating on Steam.

“I got the game for free, went into it not expecting anything much, but honestly, the game is pretty well made,” wrote Steam user Justgame565. “I love the artwork for the characters. It's very difficult in my opinion, but maybe that’s because I haven't played much of it yet”

“Can't complain since it's free,” said CårrY.

“Hopefully, it's worth the $0.00 that I spent on it,” joked G_a_M_e.

Dead in Bermuda is only available for free until 29 August 2025 at 6pm, so claim now before it's too late. After that, the price goes back up to its standard RRP of £10.99.
