The weekend is just hours away and if you are anything like me, then you will already be planning on which games you are going to be diving into during your free time.

Well, if you are a PC gamer, then the choices are endless thanks to Steam which has recently added dozens of free downloads to its storefront just in time for the weekend.

So if you are on the lookout for a roguelike deckbuilder, an action RPG, a god simulator, a 3D platformer and much more, check out some of the free downloads showcased below.

Conquer Lands - a roguelike deckbuilder which follows the battling lords who are fighting for the throne after the death of the king. Build your own unique deck of cards and battle against the opposing lords as you fight to become ruler.

Scav - an action RPG stripped back to its most simple form. Combining shooter and survival elements, players will need to gear up, drop in, scavenge and fight against both enemies and zombies. Survive or lose everything.

Loafing Town - a god simulator perfect for those who want to procrastinate. Sit the chaos at the bottom of your screen as you work or study and make use of what can only be considered as a virtual desk toy.

Sphereverse - a 3D platformer set across action-packed worlds where players must dodge traps, collect orbs and most importantly, face powerful bosses to achieve unlockable skins and even a permadeath mode.

Monumentum - in this difficult side-scroller, you will need to take control of a small rolling square and make use of the various mechanics to get it to the very top. You will definitely need a lot of patience for this one.

Whispers Among the Poppies - a hand-drawn narrative adventure following the story of a child who makes their way through a war-torn land with the help of a magical gift - the ability to speak to the dead.

YesterSol - in this Metroidvania adventure game, players will get to explore a vast, interconnected world and battle enemies sent by the mosquito deity along the way. Throw, recall and use your trusty spear to battle through this incredible game made by a solo developer.

All of these free downloads and thousands more are available to download and try out on Steam right now so don’t miss out.
