GTA 6 rival has 98 percent positive reviews, and you can grab a free download

"This is what GTA6 wants to be"

A recent Steam release has received an extremely positive review score on the platform, with hundreds of reviewers comparing it to the upcoming Rockstar Games’ title Grand Theft Auto VI.

Honestly, I’m starting to feel like everything I’ve learned from today’s game has been done so against my own will, because people will not stop waffling about it online.

Schedule I, the, um... let's say manufacturing and distribution-focused game from developer and publisher TVGS is absolutely killing it on Steam right now.

As of writing, it’s the fifth most popular game on Steam, concurrent players-wise, but it’s already hit the third spot on the list along the way.

Given the nature of the game, I’m not surprised to see so many Grand Theft Auto comparisons, but I am surprised to learn that a few of the reviewers are directly comparing it to a specific entry in the franchise: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.

“Fun game that I wasn't expecting to enjoy as much as I have. It is pretty much like the drug dealing in GTA Chinatown, except much more in depth and mixed in with some of the good Simulator style games,” writes reviewer Kozzy.

“Can't believe this was made by one person, well done to the dev! Looking forward to seeing what they add to this game in the future, it is already in great shape.”

“This game is awesome. I absolutely cracked out playing it for the first 40 hours. In fact, It's a mix between a traditional generic simulator game and GTA,” states user raijinn.

“It has personality and it's funny. I want to put more and more time on it, because it's addicting to play and stack cash.”

One cheeky reviewer even stated that Schedule I "is what GTA6 wants to be", which did crack me up considering the tens of millions of dollars that Rockstar Games and Take-Two are currently pouring into GTA VI’s development.

If you fancy giving it a go for yourself however, there is a free demo on Steam. Hopefully it lives up to the hype, because these reviews are promising a lot.
