Steam users seem to think the latest free download on the platform has some serious Game of the Year potential, and after seeing it for myself… they could be onto something.
No, I'm not a Human is an upcoming horror title from developer Trioskaz and publisher CRITICAL REFLEX on Steam, and I don’t even know where to start with explaining this one.
It looks kind of like if Papers, Please was a horror title, as it requires you to discern who amongst your visitors are real humans, so you can violently dispatch the ones who aren’t.

However, I don’t need to explain the intricacies of the gameplay, because you can now download a demo for the game and try it out for yourself; and it seems like the reviewers on Steam are extremely glad they gave this one a shot.
“After 0.1 hours of intense, devoted gameplay, I can confirm this game is GOTY-worthy. (Don’t forget to kill the cockroaches in the fridge.)”, writes reviewer CawldSauce.
“this is probably one of the few games that's actually giving me the creeps while playing, i love the art style and the interactions with the characters and objects”, commenter user Yuumi.
“can't wait for the game to come out, hope there will be all kind of dlcs so this game doesn't ever stop with content. 100/10… the fact that i had to take off my headset while playing this because i was too scared, says a lot.”

And that’s just a little segment of the 223 reviews that No, I'm not a Human’s demo has garnered so far, 96% of which are positive.
Honestly, this game just shot up my list of stuff to be excited for this year. Genuinely sound creepy as hell. I already cannot wait to get my hands on the full release.
