Animal Crossing fans may want to check out this brand new free demo that’s just appeared on Steam.
Ahead of Steam Next Fest later this month, developers are looking to get in early with free slices of their upcoming games that are still in progress.
These demos allow would-be fans to get a taste of the full experience ahead of time without spending any money, in the hopes of attracting more buyers further down the line.
Find Your Words is one of these games, which has just launched a demo to download for free on Steam. For Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley players in particular, it looks right up your alley.

Find Your Words is set in a summer camp, where you join on the first day of the summer and must make friends, build a community, and set out on adventure.
It’s being developed by Capybara Games, the same studio behind indie hits like Below and Grindstone. These games have generally been received well, so it’s great to see the developer is back with a brand new release.
Find Your Words is created by two dads and inspired by their non-speaking children’s journeys using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). As the developer says, “Our hope is to shine a light on the ways we communicate beyond speech.”

“Collect new symbols for your communication binder by exploring and playing with friends. Different combinations of symbols have unique meanings, and allow you to discover new interactions and activities.
“As you deepen your friendships with campers, you’ll discover new shared activities. You might inspire a budding artist, play hide and seek, or even hit the stage with your own new dance.”
Capybara Games has not announced a release date for Find Your Words yet, but it anticipates that the game will launch in 2026.
