There is no denying that 2026 is already shaping up to be another incredible year of gaming with some big releases being just around the corner.

However, alongside some major AAA releases, there are some hidden gems set to be released and that includes one that is already available to try out right now.

There Are No Ghosts at the Grand is an upcoming story-rich management title developed and published by Friday Sundae.

You will take on the role of the manager of a crumbling English hotel which you will need to spend your days restoring.

However, at night, things will take quite the turn as it will be up to you to banish unwanted spirits.

“With a sardonic cat, a talking power tool, and a twisting supernatural plot, this is a musical mystery unlike any other,” the official Steam review reads.

“Will you be able to hold it together while everything around you falls apart?”

In There Are No Ghosts at the Grand, you will play as Chris David who unexpectedly inherits the dilapidated hotel.

However, he soon discovers that he has just 30 days and 30 nights to restore the hotel to its former glory before its nighttime inhabitants claim it and him.

By day, you will use power tools, sandblasters, paint sprayers, furniture cannons and more to help decorate the rundown aesthetic but by night, you will use these very same tools to help banish those pesky spirits.

Head Out and Explore a Quintessential British Setting

Vacuum vengeful spirits, expose assailants with the paint sprayer and shoot a well-aimed bookcase at ghosts with the furniture cannon. It may be frightening, but it’s a whole lot of fun.

When you are not renovating the hotel, you can explore the nearby village to help other buildings in need of renovation - and who knows? You may even uncover some secrets along the way.

Whether it is helping out at the fish and chip shop or the nearby florist and bookshop, you will be able to assist the town’s residents in this quintessential British title.

There Are No Ghosts at the Grand is set for a 2026 release but luckily, there is a new demo that is free to download and try out right now courtesy of Steam.

So if you are adding this title straight to your wishlist, you may want to check it out in advance and find out if you have what it takes to restore this hotel to its former glory.
