Steam is currently hosting its Steam TPS Fest and that means that plenty of games are being showcased, discounted and revealed.

One such game is Last Flag, a 5v5 shooter which is not set to be released until 2026 but is now available to try out courtesy of a free Steam demo.

Steam’s TPS Fest is set to celebrate some incredible third-person titles and this multiplayer shooter may just be your 2026 gaming obsession.

Developed by Night Street Games and set to launch on Steam (with console versions currently in the works), Last Flag, as you may be able to guess, is based on the popular Capture the Flag mode found in many shooter titles.

“Hide your flag. Find the enemy flag. Run it back, then defend for a minute to win it,” the official Steam synopsis reads.

“Welcome to Last Flag: a fast-paced 5v5 shooter with showstopping contestants, set in a televised competition where strategy, teamwork, and chaos blend in the ultimate game of Capture the Flag.”

In this fun-first, fast-paced, third-person team shooter, enjoyment is at the heart as players master various characters, explore striking battlegrounds and “compete in the world’s hottest gameshow”.

You will have just 60 seconds to hide your flag and then it is game on as enemies race to find your hiding spot and claim the flag for themselves.

However, you will also have that time to turn the tide and find theirs, all whilst eliminating them along the way.

Play your own way, cause chaos and even take the time to uncover the mysteries that await across the unique battlegrounds all in Last Flag.

With a unique art style and chaotic gameplay, Last Flag will be free to try out from 25 August to 1 September to make sure to grab your friends and get stuck in if it sounds like your cup of tea.
